Breaking up this morning by practicing some “brush lettered” type in illustrator. Looking forward to getting more complex.

A friend asked me what would be the best way to get a lipstick texture on a line stroke. There really is no substitute for ruining a bunch of lipstick. I just wanted an excuse to practice drawing letters on the wacom. Fiddled with some brush settings, pen pressure really helps for this stuff. It’s far too much trouble to attempt to draw all the letters in a perfect line. Best to take your time and make a new layer for each.
